Uncleaned, as-found front leg bones with the paw, from a canine-type animal. Species is not confirmed. My best guess is a canine-type animal such as a coyote or medium-size dog; a fox or bobcat is also possible, so it is listed as canine-type, species not identified. These are natural bones that have not been cleaned, whitened or treated in any way, so the dirt you see in the photos is real and stays with the item.
The lot includes an upper arm bone (humerus) with a rounded head, two joined forearm bones (radius and ulna), and a foot or paw with 4 toe bones. Dried soil, grass fibers and dried tissue or residue are still on the bones, with clean white bone showing along the shafts. Some joint ends are rough and mud-covered. The bones are shown from several angles, with close-ups of the paw and toe bones, the joint ends and the dried dirt and tissue.
Condition notes:
Uncleaned: dried soil, grass fibers and dried tissue or residue remain on the bones
The bones are dry, but uncleaned; they may have a faint earthy odor.
Natural staining, wear and rough edges at the joint ends from age and exposure
Not cleaned, bleached, sealed or restored
