This striking, tribal, oriental rug, has an impressive look. It is known as a SERAPI design style. This gorgeous oriental rug was hand-knotted in Turkey, in the 1940's, so it is about 80 years old. It was hand knotted with 120 (KPSI) knots per square inch, making this a very good quality rug. This rug features a beautifully rich tribal motif of thee larger sized hexagons down the center of the field in dark blue. This is design quality you won't find in newer, less labor intensive pieces. It has a rich earth-toned pallet of: crimson red, dark blue, and tobacco brown. The exact size is 6.7x3.3, (So almost 7x3). And it can be used as an area rug in a modest sized space, or even as a slightly shorter runner. It is in very good condition with no wear spots, and no stains and a full pile.

This rug is also one that could be used in many style settings, including traditional, contemporary, transitional, or even modern (as the art piece that is a shot of color). This rug was used to stage a very large city lakes home that has now sold. It is a very special piece that will enhance your home. At retail this rug would sell for about $1200-$1500.
