This is a striking, Antique, tribal SERAPI Oriental rug that was hand knotted in Turkey in the 1940's. It is a strikingly beautiful and rich looking rug, (which is why we used it to stage a very upscale home that has now sold.)
This is a statement piece with a unique, bold, and rich look to it. It is a sophisticated tribal design with two large navy hexagons in the center of the true red colored field. And all of this is surrounded by a double outer border in tobacco brown and the second border in navy blue to match the hexagons. The exact size is 6.6x3.7 It is an antique rug (being from the 1940's) and in excellent (virtually perfect) condition, with a nice sheen still to the wool. We choose quality pieces like this for staging because the designs, quality, and colors of the newer pieces, simply do not compare or give the aura of quality and authentic design sophistication of these antique rugs. So they help set the house above and apart from everything else with their design impressiveness.
This is an exceptional piece that will enhance your home wherever you use it. It is available because the staged home in which it was used, has been sold. (We take the rugs back after staging and sell them for a portion of their cost to reduce the staging fee.) At retail this is about $2500-$2800; just $575 here since the staging fee paid for the bulk of the cost.
