We have a room available in a house on a private lake in Stratford, Connecticut. This is only until May 31, 2027 when the landlord returns to enjoy the lake in the summer and we must vacate. This is a large old stone house located on several secluded acres yet still close to shopping. You have full use of the kitchen, dining room, living room and grounds. Swimming, sailing and canoeing on lake, and if cold enough, ice skating in the winter. No private bath but, at most, you would share a bathroom with one other person. Rent is $800 per month inclusive of utilities. Sorry, but no pets and no smoking anywhere on premises, inside or out.
