Leonard has been in our family for a while. We bought him on the island of Maui and shipped him back to the states. He’s been so much fun!!! but it’s time to partways. Hubby doesn’t camp and the kids are grown.
I’ve put at least 10K into fixes and upgrades (iykyk) (vintage vehicles 🤷‍♀️) i’ve got paperwork on everything we’ve done. The clutch recently went out and we started it up to move it up a ramp to put in a new master cylinder …. and boom, white smoke. We are pretty sure its a coolant leak not a blown gasket!
Issues still abound, I won’t beat around the bush with that. But many many things are in great shape.

Here’s a short list of some of the things we’ve done
-Rebuilt the distributor
-Rebuilt the steering rack and pinion with new seals
-New CV joint and boots
-Rebuilt the alternator
-All new brakes and components
-New aluminum fuel lines
- installed a fitech system to replace the old horrible fuel pump.
-Rerouted and customized the throttle cable to work with the Fitech system
-New AC compressor and rebuilt the AC system (but never filled it with Freon)
-tires have less than 4000 miles on them
-repack the wheel bearings
-new temperature sensor, oxygen sensor, fuel, pressure, regulator, and ball joints

And of course re calibrated the engine

I value him around $8000. Willing to trade for an older truck that is in great shape. Or some cows. Or perhaps any other interesting suggestions.
