Sitting Thinker Sculpture in Chrome - $50 (Stillwater)

Decorative replica of the famous sculpture The Thinker (French: Le Penseur) by Auguste Rodin.
The original sculpture, conceived in 1880, depicts a nude male figure in deep contemplation, often used as a symbol of philosophy and intellectual reflection.
It was intended to depict the poet Dante Alighieri pondering the fate of the damned at the top of Rodin's monumental bronze doorway, The Gates of Hell.
The figure was later exhibited independently in 1888 and became a standalone work of art.
The original sculpture is typically cast in bronze, but this replica is made of a ceramic with a silver metallic finish.
Measures approximately 8 inches tall and base is about 4.5 inches in diameter. Excellent condition- no chips or cracks.
