It is in very good condition--no scratches, no stains. Less than three years old and barely used. It is upholstered in a thick, soft leather with matching stitching. Solid wood legs. The color is oyster.
Three-seat design with a tufted back and foam-filled cushions. It has track arms and tapered legs.
Note: one reason this sofa is expensive is that it is made with full-grain leather, heavily padded, on a Harwood frame. It will last for decades with simple cleaning and conditioning.
Less-expensive leather sofas use a bonded leather attached to a fabric base, cheaper padding and softer wood frames. The leather cracks and peels, the padding compresses, the frame gets loose and saggy—not this sofa.
The sofa is designed by Chateu d'Ax, an Italian design firm, and sold in Bloomingdale's, among other places, for $3,332 list + tax.
We love it, but it’s a bit large for our downsized space.
