I'm looking for steady, long-term full-time work in or around the Olathe/Kansas City area and can start immediately.
I'm in a tight financial spot right now and need to get back to steady work quickly. I'm not looking for a handout. I'm looking for an opportunity to work hard, get stable, and stay somewhere long-term.
I have 10+ years of experience across construction, tile installation, warehouse/production, shipping, material handling, cleanup, and other hands-on work.
My construction and tile experience includes demolition, preparing jobsites, moving materials, mixing setting materials and grout, making tile cuts, grouting, cleanup, and general construction labor.
I've also worked warehouse and production jobs doing sorting, packing, shipping/package handling, production work, cleaning, and other physically demanding work.
I haven't worked professionally in tile for several years, so I no longer own a full set of tile tools. I'm willing to get back into the trade, but initially I would need employer/jobsite tools while I rebuild my own.
TRANSPORTATION: I currently have a bicycle rather than a car. I can reliably get to work within a reasonable distance of Olathe/66061. I'm actively working toward buying another vehicle. A company that works from one location, provides transportation from the shop to jobsites, or has crews that ride together would work especially well.
I'm dependable, learn quickly, don't mind physical work, and am willing to work overtime when available.
I'm looking for approximately $22-$25+/hour depending on the position, hours, benefits, transportation, and responsibilities. Most importantly, I'm looking for steady hours and somewhere I can stay long-term.
