E-Commerce Operations Associate, Location: Staten Island, NY Employment Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
About the Role
We are a growing e-commerce company operating across multiple online sales channels, including Shopify and third-party marketplaces. We are looking for a reliable, organized, and hands-on E-Commerce Operations Associate to join our team.
This is a varied role involving warehouse operations, e-commerce management, administrative tasks, inventory, customer service, and general business support. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, learn quickly, solve problems, and take ownership of tasks.
Responsibilities
Pick, pack, label, and ship customer orders, Receive, organize, and manage inventory, Monitor inventory levels and assist with purchasing and supply orders, Manage and update product listings, pricing, inventory, and orders across Shopify and other e-commerce platforms. Monitor e-commerce accounts and help resolve listing, order, and account issues
Assist with returns, customer service, and shipping issues Perform data entry, maintain records, and prepare spreadsheets/reports
Assist with QuickBooks and reconciling information between Shopify, QuickBooks, and other systems Communicate with vendors, shipping carriers, customers, and marketplace representatives Help improve processes, create SOPs, and identify ways to make operations more efficient. Assist management with various projects and day-to-day business needs
Qualifications
Prior e-commerce experience is strongly preferred, Experience with Shopify and QuickBooks is strongly preferred
Experience with e-commerce marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, Walmart, Temu, or similar platforms is a plus
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets. Highly organized and detail-oriented
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, Able to multitask and work independently Comfortable performing both office/clerical work and hands-on warehouse work Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
