I would be glad to answer general questions and help you identify the appropriate next steps. This invitation is open to adults who are:
• Unbaptized and exploring Christianity;
• Baptized in another Christian tradition and considering entering into full communion with the Catholic Church;
• Baptized Catholics seeking the sacraments they have not yet received; or
• Catholic Christians who wish to renew and deepen their formation.
I serve as a leader in the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) and men’s ministry at a Roman Catholic parish in Stamford. My wife and I also lead a Domestic Church ministry serving couples and families in the Northeast. After a period away, I returned to the Catholic Church several years ago, and I understand that the journey of faith can involve both questions and seasons of seeking.
I can offer informal guidance on the Catholic faith, explain how OCIA works, and help you contact a local pastor or parish. As appropriate, I can also provide information about our OCIA program, young-adult ministry, men’s ministry, and preparation for sacramental marriage in the area.
There is no pressure or obligation. The purpose is simply to provide a welcoming point of contact for anyone sincerely interested in learning more or reconnecting with the Catholic Church.
