The car starts, runs, drives, and stops, and it has a clean Oregon title in hand.
It does need some additional work before I’d consider it fully road-ready. Once the engine is warm, it develops a surge/idle issue. I suspect it may have a vacuum leak, but I haven’t been able to pinpoint it. I’ve already replaced the coolant temperature sensor, idle control valve (ICV), and idle control module (ICM) with no improvement.
The brakes function, but the pedal is firm and feels like the brake booster may not be providing assist. It could also use a new battery. Lastly the clear coat is in poor shape.
I’m being upfront about what it needs, and it’s priced accordingly. This would make a great project for someone looking for a classic E30. Unfortunately I just don’t have the time anymore to work on it.
