Up for sale are TWO fabulous pieces of Native American wall art, a great gift for someone, even yourself!
The first is an ORIGINAL signed opaque watercolor gouache painting on paper board from famed Hopi artist Daniel Namoki (b.1960), known mostly for his paintings featuring ceremonial Kachina figures. This traditional still life composition depicts polychrome southwestern pottery jars et al. It is in its original matte & frame from 1978. It measures 14.5” x 16.5”
The second is also vintage, a framed limited edition signed lithograph by famed Colorado artist Dolores Smith, featuring traditional Navajo/Dine Ye’i figures in a batik art. It measures 12” x 15”.
Both are in very good condition with minor expected frame wear for their ages. It is unlikely that either has UV protective glass given the era in which they were framed, so please be advised to hang them away from direct sunlight.
