I’m selling my 1993 Jaguar XJS 4.0l inline-6 convertible with 88,000 miles, automatic transmission. Has check engine light FF24 ignition amplifier drive circuit fault. It starts and drives but runs rough and would need to be trailered and a tune up performed. It runs rough. Battery required a jump because it’s been sitting.
The tires have less then 4000 miles on them, less then a year old. The radio has been replaced with a more modern cd player and AUX connect, the original radio will be included. The convertible top works perfect, front and rear brakes have been completely replaced ($1700 with receipt), recent oil change with 10w-40 Castrol synthetic oil and a Bosch oil filter. The sale will include many new parts brand new AC belt and serpentine belt, spark plugs, Fan clutch, thermostat, and repair manual. I have 2 car covers as well. The car has always been garage kept or under a cover the entire life of the car. Never driven in snow and almost never in rain.
This is the very rare Jade Green Metallic paint spec HEV with less than 200 produced worldwide. The only flaw is the passenger door was repainted and is starting to show signs of wear. Only the door, the rest of the body is flawless. Zero rust, no scratches or dents. The interior has beige leather in excellent condition and regularly treated with leather honey conditioner for preservation. Power windows and locks, Ice cold AC, heat blows hot, everything works as it should.
No accidents, I have a clean title in hand. If running perfect this car is worth $10-$15k in America and $15-$20k in Europe. Price on these are going up yearly. I’m asking $7500. Call or text if interested show contact info
. Thanks!
