These are ginger jar lamps, a pair of cream crackle-glaze ceramic ones on brass bases with drum-style shades. The style is based on Chinese ginger jars, with a rounded body, wide shoulders, and a stepped neck.
They look like the mid-century (1960s-70s) "Hollywood Regency" or Asian-inspired lamps
(that Frederick Cooper, Wildwood, and Paul Hanson made/designed)

These have belonged to my mother since she bought new some years ago and are in excellent condition.
