This is a near mint condition Fender Stratocaster Partscaster made into a late 1959/early 1960 spec guitar. It has a beautiful three tone sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer body from a 2014 Fender Classic 60’s Stratocaster. The neck is a from a 2015 Fender Special Edition 60’s Stratocaster with a “slab” rosewood fingerboard, vintage narrow frets and a 7.25” radius. I upgraded the other components to make it into a late 1959/early 1960 spec. guitar. I upgraded the pickups to genuine Fender ‘59 pickups, put a Fender Pure Vintage (shorter) 60’s tremolo arm, a bridge cover plate, and a 0.10 mfd wax paper capacitor, and a pickguard shield plate (all these components are genuine Fender made in U.S.A. as shown by the tags in the photo). It has vintage style Kluson tuners, period correct plastic knobs and pickup covers, a three ply “mint” pickguard, and Fender stamped bridge saddles. I shielded the pickup cavity with copper tape. It is wired in vintage style (no tone control on the bridge pickup) but it has a 5-way pickup selector switch. I also purchased a brown Tolex Fender case with a crushed yellow velvet interior (as it would have come from the factory in ‘59/60), which was made in the U.S.A. By G&G Case Co. To top it off, it comes with some nice case candy: a vintage style strap, reproduction period sales literature, owners manual, treated polishing cloth, and Fender celluloid picks.

There are some light swirl marks on the body and some very light surface scratches on the back near the horn. The frets have no wear on them.
