We have an open position for a Spokane based truck driver. We service lanes from Spokane into Washington/Oregon/Idaho and Montana. trips are usually 1-2 days with a driver expecting to spend 1 or 2 nights a week in the truck. Occasional driver tailgating required. We have a friendly team and a great work environment.
Equipment will be a sleeper cab, and 53ft dry van, with a 2016-2020 Freightliner or Volvo sleeper cab
Duties:
Operate tractor-trailer units in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and deliveries made.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and operational standards.
Experience
Minimum 2 years CDL Experience.
53ft trailer and sleeper truck combo experience.
Basic knowledge of how to keep a logbook
A friendly attitude to coworkers and customers
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on the road.
