For sale is a rare, complete matched pair of late 1940s / early 1950s Mid-Century Modern ceramic table lamps by Aladdin Pottery. They feature a striking open-work sculptural teardrop design finished in a pearlized iridescent opalescent glaze. The body is highlighted by elegant sweeping brown and gold-gilded accents resting on a twisted rope-style pedestal base.
This set is exceptionally rare because it includes both matching vintage bell shades, which filter light with a warm, beautiful texture.
• Condition: Both lamps are tested, fully functional, and ready for use! They have been safely updated with newer polarized plugs. One lamp features a minor, stable vertical hairline crack on the upper gilded ridge (visible only upon close inspection; see detail photo). Otherwise, no major chips, deep cracks, or repairs.
• Includes: Two (2) matching vintage bell shades and lamp harps.
• Dimensions: Approximately 28" tall to the top of the finial.
