I fit it through 35" wide door opening, any smaller would be pushing it.

Because this couch has real leather, untreated. It can absorb oils more easily. If you get it wet it turns dark, then dries out and goes back to normal. There is a head stain (on left top side) from oil as seen in the pictures. We don't notice it much or easy to drape a throw blanket over it. Overall the leather is in good condition and still has lots of life left.. There are some character marks, normal wear and tear.
Very comfortable couch and the highest of quality. I have not applied any leather conditioner to it nor tried to restore it to like new condition. I was going to bring this couch down to my basement, but I do not think it will fit through the 31" door opening.. Let me know if you have any questions..
