We bought this for our disabled son to use in his studio apartment. He did not use it and pressed us into buying him a standard window air conditioner instead. We bought this off of Amazon for $140, and discovered that it was WAY too expensive to ship back.
In Texas and other southern states, they call this a "swamp cooler." The fan blows the cold air off of ice water that is supplied by 4, re-freezable ice packs (see photos).
