Used as a daily driver, check engine came on the last time I drove it (UPDATE: CE light was diagnosed at Autozone as the Engine Control Module, price of part is $156.99) and there is an electrical issue that is occasionally causing failure to start. (Possibly also related to ECM)
The starter is fine and not the cause of the issue. I know this because if it doesn't start with the key and it gets pushed to start (easy with about ten feet of downgrade), then after a while it will start again with the key. If the starter were bad, it would never start with the key again.
Similarly, it's not the fuel pump or the ignition switch. None of the symptoms of those are present. After investigating possible causes, the best I can come up with is that there is a bad cable or connection somewhere. Good news is, both of those are minor and relatively easy to fix. Bad news is, I don't have the tools, expertise, or spare funds to get it done. Hopefully, you do? The car's great when it's running, just needs some tlc.
If the listing is up, it's still available. Please ask any questions you have and I'll do my best to answer them!
