Good hay, free choice, and a mineral block. That's the whole winter program.

No grain for the doe unless she's working hard, and no grain for the lambs at all. They've been raised to make a living on forage and they hold condition on it. Hannie's three months into her lactation on hay and grass and hasn't dropped a drop. $400.

Ewe lambs are five and six months, $250 apiece. Ram lambs are six to eight months, $200 apiece.
