Responsibilities:
Perform auto body repair, surface preparation, and painting on prototype components and vehicles
Prepare and finish automotive panels to meet high-quality show car standards
Perform panel surfacing and gap and margin adjustments
Operate shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools
Maintain accurate vehicle service and repair records
Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized workspace
Work independently and collaboratively with team members
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 4 years of automotive body repair experience
Experience with panel surfacing and detailed bodywork
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on auto body repair and automotive paint experience
Experience with show-quality panel fitment, gap, and margin adjustments
Show car painting experience
