Nevada Smog Inspector Training – Online 1G Course

Want to become a licensed smog inspector in Nevada?

SmogTechSchool.com can help you get started! Our Nevada DMV-approved 1G training course is online, so you can study at home and work through the lessons on your own schedule.

No classrooms. No set schedule. Just log in and complete the course whenever you have time.

Here's how it works:

• Take the course online. Complete the required 20 hours of training on your computer, tablet, or phone.
• Get some hands-on practice. Train with a licensed smog inspector at a Nevada smog station.
• Get your certificate. Once you've finished the course requirements, you'll receive a certificate of completion.
• Take the DMV exams. After training, you'll still need to pass the DMV's written and practical exams to get licensed.

Already working at an auto shop? You may be able to do your hands-on training right where you work. If not, we can help you find a participating smog station.

You don't need to go to college or sit through weeks of classes to train for your 1G smog inspector license.
