We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Baker to join our team. As a member of our baking team, you will play a critical role in our kitchen, ensuring our in-house recipes are made accurately and up to the high standards we've laid in place. If you have a passion for baking, excellent culinary skills, and a strong attention to detail, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of recipes according to in-house specifications.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment at all times. Our standards for clean are high!
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment with strong levels of care.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking.
- Contribute to the development of new menu items and as needed on occasion, bake front-of-house at one of our retail shops.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a baker or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining close attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Culinary degree or certification is required
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
