Looking for general labor jobs in the Kansas City area. I grew up working on a farm in Arizona, so the heat isn't an issue at all. I have reliable transportation and hate being late to anything. I just moved to KCMO and would like to find a moving company or construction company that needs an extra set of hands to handle the messy grunt work.
My background is mostly in demo or operating telehandlers, but I have experience in multiple different trades. I previously worked for a GC in Colorado, where I would come in and handle the demo work before the subs could come in and do the skilled labor. After the job was complete, I would come behind them and finish up anything that was missed or fix any issues. I worked alongside the framing and carpentry crew often as well. Alongside the construction work, I often would work moving jobs with a friend of mine who ran a moving company.
Before that, I was working at a farm in Arizona where I spent most of my time shoveling different grains and operating various equipment.
I am looking for moving jobs mostly, but am open to any other type of general labor work. I do not have bags or tools right now because they were stolen out of my car the first week I moved here. I do still have a multitool and a few other odds and ends, but the important stuff is gone. If needed, I will purchase any tools required for the job.
