Experienced Computer & Network Technician (PT / FT) - $22 - $28 / hr DOE
Compensation: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Employment Type: Part-Time to Full-Time
Schedule: Includes Saturdays and rotating after-hours emergency calls
We are a local computer repair company looking for a sharp, highly organized, and experienced Computer Technician for a part-time to full-time position. This role splits time between hands-on in-shop repairs and on-site customer service calls.
This is NOT an entry-level position. We need a technician who can hit the ground running, think critically, and troubleshoot complex issues to a complete resolution without hand-holding.
What You'll Be Doing
• Expert Diagnosis & Repair: Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software errors on desktops and laptops.
• On-Site & In-Shop Service: Deliver high-quality technical support at our shop and directly at customer locations.
• Meticulous Documentation: Maintain clear, detailed, and quality written notes of all work performed.
• Flexible Support: Work regular Saturday shifts and handle occasional short-notice, after-hours emergency service calls.
What You Must Bring to the Table
• Solid Field Experience: Proven, relevant work experience in IT support or computer repair.
• Customer-First Attitude: Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and warmly with both customers and teammates.
• Reliable Transport: You must have a reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and maintain valid auto insurance for on-site service.
• Strong Tech Foundation: Advanced troubleshooting skills and a sharp aptitude for learning new technologies on the fly.
• Laptop repair skills and strong networking knowledge are a huge plus.
