I have a 19 foot Lightning sailboat for sale. I found it last spring at Lake Gaston and brought it to my shop and restored it to like new condition. The pictures are exactly what it looks like
Also the last picture is a Lightning sailboat in action on a lake, It is not the boat for sale here but one exactly like it
On the transom is the date it was built, I thought it deserved to have its Birthday displayed. The boat has all new lines and halyards color coded ( sailors do not call them ropes) Features: stainless steel centerboard,
Stainless steel mast cables, mahogany rudder and mahogany tiller. Also the.new mahogany and rope rub rail in the picture is my work. ( I am a serious craftsman, I also repair and restore violins )
The galvanized trailer is in new condition, ( new wheel bearings and seals, new lights, new winch, new tires
As you see in the pictures the boat looks showroom new
It’s like owning a classic car.
A new Lightning sailboat with trailer is $25000.00
The boat is sitting in my shop under lights so you can look it over close. So you know I’m serious about Lightning sailboats I have another 1980 Lightning
Sitting right next to the 1978 that I am keeping.
Jordan Lake is where I sail, although I have been other places. Naturally this fine boat comes with a North Carolina Wildlife Resource Commission Title
And theTrailer is registered for a year with the N.C
DMV and you get the registration and the Title
Most boaters don’t know much about Lightning sailboats but they are a world class sailboat and there is a Lightning Sailboat Association that you can join, it has members all over the world.
