Are you a vintage/current gaming enthusiast? We are looking for someone with experience in customer service, a positive attitude, and an eagerness for participating in a community that we love! At Recycle Video Games, working as a front desk clerk is more than just scanning barcodes and helping patrons find what they're looking for. It's about being a part of a team, having the capacity to learn from one another, and sharing an appreciation for gaming with our community.
While customer service experience is preferred, we'd love to hire the right person to train up and allow to build their experience with us.
What do we mean by the "right person"?
š® Someone dependable - Who shows up, and shows up when they're scheduled to.
š® Someone considerate - it is important to everyone that we maintain a tidy work space and combat clutter whenever possible. We have a lot of in and out flow at this shop that is a constant task. In order to avoid being overtaken, we have to stay on top of it. This means: keeping a tidy work space, and making sure that we leave our work spaces better than we left them for the next person to clock in.
š® Someone who is comfortable, or actively working on being more comfortable with speaking to customers and sharing insight, interest, and holding engaged conversations about gaming.
š® Someone comfortable with being up front about what they don't know, that way, we can help them fill in the gaps. Our other employees are great, patient, kind people who make really good teachers. They love sharing what they know, and we all like to lift each other up. When one of us succeeds, we all do.
