I bought this bike in Jan. 2000, used to ride dirt bikes in the 70's, bought this because it was small and inexpensive, I'm 68 years old and decided my cycle riding days have passed me by, worked fine on pavement (but I'm a dirt bike guy) scared me to death on gravel forest service roads, so I put a new set of tires on it (added heavy duty tubes), all the difference in the world, rides great on trail and street now. Original tires and tubes come with it. Some small mods have been made.
