Hilow Construction LLC maintains two 44-unit apartment communities in southeast South Dakota, one in the Sioux Falls / Harrisburg area and one in Yankton. We're looking for a dependable handyman / carpenter for unit turnovers and ongoing repairs at one or both properties.
What you'll do:
- Unit turns: cleaning, patching, painting, minor repairs
- Flooring repair and replacement (LVP, carpet patching, vinyl, basic tile)
- Interior painting and drywall repair
- Trim carpentry, interior doors, blinds, light fixtures
- HVAC service and repair (no full-system installs; license not required)
- Appliance installs (ranges, dishwashers, hoods, disposals, water heaters)
- Punch lists and small repairs
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years of handyman, carpentry, or maintenance experience
- Reliable, self-directed, and able to manage your own schedule
- Reliable transportation and own tools a plus
- General liability insurance preferred (open to discuss)
