Please research the capabilities of this machine to determine if it will meet your needs. My experience is that the unit shines with branches 1.5" and smaller, struggles up to 2", and won't do anything bigger than that. This is the nature of all consumer chippers; the 4" measurement is the length of the chipping blade, not the actual capacity of the machine.
The machine weighs almost 230 lbs and I have no way to move it, it will need to be picked up at my residence.
