NEED 1ST PICK UP TOMORROW MORNING, WEDNESDAY NOV 4TH
I am looking for a reliable, responsible individual or small trucking company to pick up and deliver 1 pallets of bottled spring water from a water plant in Salem, South Carolina, to a location in Simpsonville, SC.
This is a recurring delivery opportunity for someone with the appropriate truck and the ability to transport approximately 5,000 pounds of bottled water safely.
DELIVERY DETAILS
Pickup Location: Water plant in Salem, South Carolina.
Delivery Location: Location in Simpsonville, SC, near downtown main St.
Load: 1 pallet of bottled spring water.
Total Weight: Approximately 2,500 pounds.
Frequency: Once per month initially, increasing to twice per month within the next few months.
Schedule: Recurring, with pickup date coordinated in advance.
TRUCK REQUIREMENTS
You will need a truck capable of safely transporting approximately 5,000 pounds of bottled water. 2500lbs per pallet
A 20-foot box truck or larger is preferred.
A 16-foot truck may work, but you would need to remove the water boxes and individual water packs from the pallets and rearrange them to distribute the load properly.
I actually used a heavy duty pick up truck to pick up but load will definitely have to be re-distributed. I will pay $175- $200 per trip per pallet.
A liftgate is strongly preferred and would be a big help.
The water plant will load the water onto your truck using a forklift. When you arrive at the location in Simpsonville, someone will be there to unload the water.
You are ONLY responsible for picking up the water and delivering it to Simpsonville. You will NOT be responsible for loading or unloading the water.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a straightforward transportation arrangement with the potential for consistent repeat work over several months.
I would prefer to establish a working relationship with someone who is punctual, communicates well, takes care of the load, and can commit to the scheduled deliveries.
