Weekend Overnight Personal Caregiver — CNA Required

I’m a 52-year-old quadriplegic woman seeking a reliable, compassionate caregiver for a long-term position assisting me with daily living.

Schedule:
Two 12-hour shifts each weekend:

• Saturday, midnight to noon (beginning Friday night).
• Sunday, midnight to noon (beginning Saturday night).
• Some holidays are also required.

Days and hours are non-negotiable. Overnight care includes periodic repositioning, followed by a hands-on morning routine.

Applicants must:

• Have current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Have her own car.
• Speak English fluently and understand spoken instructions clearly.
• Be dependable and consistently arrive on time.

I’m looking for someone compassionate, helpful, and positive who can learn and follow my established care routine. Experience with spinal cord injuries is preferred.

Duties include:

• Transfers between bed and wheelchair using a lift.
• Personal care, including dressing, oral care, showering, bowel and bladder management, and hair care.
• Repositioning and assistance overnight.
• Cleaning and disinfecting urinary care equipment.
• Light housekeeping.
• Preparing breakfast and assisting with eating.
