Rare vintage flute in amazing condition. Early production while the senior Watanabe was personally building these instruments (sn 1598 and the Mateki/Watanabe logo on the headjoint confirm this). Sterling headjoint and body. No dents nor scratches nor plating loss to the keywork whatsoever. Hasn't even been carried much—check the condition of the matching original french case. Best of all is how it plays. Wow; smooth, quiet and quick keywork, beautiful tonal palette, great intonation; agile--a joy to play. Recent COA by a wonderful certified technician. I'll be glad to meet yo25where you can try it for yourself. The first person who does so is going to take this little jewel home. Tough to let go.
