This is a solid wood, custom made piece inspired by the Crate and Barrel Paloma line and intended to coordinate with the Paloma sideboard we previously owned. (NOTE: The attached photo of the sideboard is for reference only and not being sold.)
The slatted door fronts allow for air flow through the cabinet and also allow remote controls to operate the AV components inside each of the three sections while the doors are attached. The cabinet disassembles without any tools. (A rubber mallet is needed for re-assembly) The back of the cabinet is open for easy access to the rear of components or receiver and allows for free air flow.
The total height of the cabinet is 17-3/4 inches tall, which allows TVs to stand at eye level while you are seated without having to crane your neck up to view a high-mounted TV.
The length of the cabinet is 73-1/4 inches long. (It was able to accommodate our 77-inch flat screen TV with a few inches to spare on each side. (The 77-inch TV is not shown in the photos.)
The width (or depth) of the cabinet is 25-3/4 inches and will accommodate a full-size audio receiver with room to spare for audio cables coming out of the back of the receiver.
The inside measurement of each section is 10 inches tall. The two outside sections are 21-1/4 inches wide inside. The middle section is 20-3/8 inches wide inside and housed our center channel speaker.
The top and bottom is made of solid 1-3/8 inch wood. Since the cabinet can be disassembled, it is easier to carry and transport in pieces. The top lifts off, then the side and middle pieces come out, with the bottom and feet remaining. It goes back together in reverse order. (The pieces fit together tightly and a rubber mallet will be needed to tap them together.
As the photos reflect, the slatted door fronts pop off.
I live in Silver Spring, Maryland, where this cabinet is housed. This is for local purchase. The customer is responsible for transporting the cabinet.
