This is a vintage wheat sheaf form bamboo and glass dining table designed by the iconic duo Eleanor and John McGuire.

The organic modern style table features a bamboo pedestal that looks like a gracefully splayed sheaf of wheat bundled with a braided rattan band. The base is topped with a ½” thick round glass top with an ogee edge. Signed by maker under the table base.

The 1970s era dining table is in very good vintage condition. The glass top has no chips but there are faint scattered scratches. The bamboo base shows some wear and bamboo loss that is not super noticeable given the rustic organic nature of the piece. Please see photos for more details about the condition of the table.

The dining table measures 45” diameter and 28.72” tall with a 28.25" knee clearance. Glass top is heavy but can be removed for transport.
