This is a vintage 1970s dresser by high end American furniture maker Ethan Allen. Great for bedroom clothing storage, but could also be used as a TV stand, sideboard in a dining room, or a credenza in a home office or craft room. This style of dresser, with the segmented drawer fronts, are very popular pieces to transform into apothecary or card catalog style pieces.
The dresser features solid maple and birch wood construction and 6 dovetail jointed drawers with original brass hardware. Durable wood tone laminate top. Ethan Allen Baumritter stamped inside the top drawer.
The 1970s era dresser is in good vintage condition. The case is very solid, and all drawers are clean and slide smoothly. The laminate top is in great shape with some small scuffs on top and scratches on the edges. The wood finish is richly colored with scattered scratches and wear. One drawer has a repaired bottom corner. The sides have non structural cracks on the bottom, and there is some wood loss on the front corners. Please see photos for more details about the condition of the dresser.
The dresser measures 48” long, 18.5” wide, and 30” tall.
