As a CNC Machinist, you’ll operate computer numerical control (CNC) equipment to produce precise metal components. You'll operate manual lathes and mills for finishing last operations. You’ll interpret mechanical blueprints and verify finished parts against specifications. Cut bar material for inventory and clean/pack parts.
-Read blueprints and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Ability to adjust offsets to keep parts in tolerance.
-Finishing parts using hand sanding on manual lathes , grinders, and appropriate hand and power tools.
-Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines, and other precision measuring instruments.
-Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs., cut bar stock on automatic saws.

Qualifications
Basic experience with CNC machining, hand finishing parts on manual lathes, cleaning and packing parts, and CNC quality inspection. Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and perform precision measurement in machining.
Familiarity with machining tools and processes such as milling, lathe work, and manual machining.
Qualified applicants start at $20 an hour.
40-50 hour work weeks with overtime pay
