Probably like you I get a lot of scam to my phone, (Toll scams, SR Services, can’t deliver your package, etc. you get it.), so I don’t answer my phone unless you are in my contacts. Also during business hours I could be in work meeting, so leaving a message or sending text works pretty well.
Email as last resort as I do not check email in timely manner, so if you have to email, give me your number and good time to call you back.
