We have a mainsail from a J/105 for sail. This sail was made by Piranha sails of Marblehead Massachusetts in 2013 and has about 6 seasons of use. It is made of dacron and is a class-legal sail for J/105 one design racing (has a class measurement sticker applied). It has always been rolled, not folded or flaked and comes with a tube-bag for storage. Comes with battens. This would make a great cruising, practice, or day-sailing sail, it has lots of life left. $500.
This may fit other boats in the 32-38' range, the class sail dimensions are: Luff length – 12,650 mm; foot length – 4,450 mm; leech length – 13,260 mm;
A replacement new mainsail would cost about $5,000.
Note that the photo of the boats shows the newer Piranha main sail that replaced the one we are selling. The photo was taken by Lee Ann Smith.
