Please note you must use a licensed contractor to do an air conditioner change out/install. It's against the law for the homeowner and the unlicensed; and the county is watching for this activity. Also, you could void your 10-year parts and 1 Year Labor warranty if you do not use a licensed contractor to do the installation. (We hear this all the time.)
So, check for the contractor's license numbers, it must be on all advertisements, quotes, invoices, business cards. Protect yourself by going to www.myfloridalicense.com and search for the company by the license number they give you and verify the license is good. (As some people will tell you they are EPA certified and use those EPA cert numbers in the "license" spot to fool you.)
