Hi, I'm seeking an apprenticeship in a skilled trade of any kind. Metal/glasswork, repair, carpentry, auto-body, anything really. I just want to get out of the restaurant industry. I would especially like to work with ceramics or stone, as I am an aspiring sculptor.
I plan to go to Delgado to get a welding certificate within the next year. I need something that will provide CONSISTENT work and not just random things here and there.
A bit about me:
- 5+ years in the service industry doing anything from dishwashing/deep cleaning to line cooking and prep (experience using a knife).
- Able bodied with no physical or mental impairments
- Sober and clean
- Dedicated and motivated to choose a path in my life and build my future
- No kids or romantic partner so my schedule and availability is very open
- Open minded and a quick learner
- Ability to lift and move 50lbs with ease
- I own steel toed oil resistant work boots
I DO NOT have a Driver's License or vehicle. Working on that currently. But I do have a bicycle, two legs and lots of experience with the bus.
Contact me if you could use someone smart, timely and responsible. I am 24 and ready to work.
