The classic Barcelona table was originally created by Mies van der Rohe in 1930 for the Mies-designed Villa Tugendhat in Brno, Czech Republic.
It is an icon of minimalist design, and it is often paired with the Barcelona chair for their stylistic parallels.
Surely Mies's finest furniture design exudes modern style and simple sophistication.
The perfect complement to the Barcelona chair, placing it in the center of the room allows the viewer to appreciate its simple, supremely elegant construction.
Specification:
The top is 3/4" thick clear glass with a 1/8" beveled edge.
The top and edges have a slight green tint.
The base is a premium-grade bar stock stainless steel hand-buffed to a mirror finish.

Knoll started stamping the base with their signature in 1996, most likely manufactured in the USA by Knoll as evidenced by the polished stainless-steel frame, attention to detail, and use of high-quality materials and craftsmanship.
