The tabletop has latches and a geared mechanism underneath that allows it to separate for an extension leaf. However, the removable center leaf has been lost, so the table is being sold for use in its current round configuration only.
This is a sturdy, well-built table with plenty of life remaining, but it has scratches, scuffs and finish wear from moving and storage. It needs a thorough cleaning and some furniture polish or refinishing attention. It should clean up beautifully for someone willing to give it a little TLC.
