Unique details on this Holdsworth lead me to believe it is a "factory special" bike, most likely from late 60's or early 70’s
It has been re-finished in the classic orange and blue of the Holdsworth Professional.
Nicely hand filed tapered and thinned Prugnat lugs.
Beautiful chainstays that fully wrap around seat lug.
Elegantly scalloped hand-filed junctions to dropouts and fork tips.
Campagnolo 1010 rear dropouts (pre-1970 with spring hole) and fender eyelets.
Hand brazed tangs on inside of fork crown/blades.
No Braze-ons other than seat tube bottle mounts, and fender eyelets.
Geometry: 101cm wheelbase and 43.5 cm chainstays.
120mm rear spacing. 27.0mm Crown Race. English BB threading of course. Standard (57mm) nutted brakes with 700c wheels.
No visible serial number on frame (might be paint is too thick there), but steerer tube reads 61555
If you geeking out on this one like me, note it's not a Holdsworth Mistral: the finish work is far too nice.
Offered as frameset, but have many clamp on cable stops that work on this bike. I also have a Shimano 600 Arabesque group from about 1980 that can complete it
