These 3 open bookcases each have 4 fixed shelves. They are made of oak and stained medium brown. Each piece is 78 ¾” tall x 28 ¾” wide x 14 ¾” deep. These professional quality bookcases were made by an experienced furniture craftsman in the late 1980s. The craftsmanship is excellent. There are minor scratches on the bottom shelf of each unit. Also there is a small hole in the top of each unit where it was secured to a wall for earthquake security. The shelf spaces (height) for two of the bookcases are top: 13", next : 13 7/8", next : 14", next: 13 7/8", Bottom : 14". The shelf spaces (height) for one bookcase are top: 16 1/4", next: 17 1/8", next: 12 1/8", next: 12 1/8", next: 12 1/8", bottom: 11 7/8".
