One Specialized Demo 9 high-end mountain bike from several years ago. This was one of Specialized's most tricked-out downhill bicycles. It is a heavy and very aggressively-stanced pro downhill performer with spot on geometry, really plush, with a lot of travel for going BIG, and it boasts a very capable and versatile gear setup. The Demo offers great control, and it loves the technical stuff. Especially on the downhill race-style tracks, where it's fast, high-speed, and somewhat open, the Demo 9 comes alive. The bike holds its line and wants you to keep pushing it, and it'll just keep going. This bike is super clean overall, and I would prefer to keep it, but I'm getting out of downhill and also downsizing, so this one has to go. Time to let a proud new owner really rock this ride, cuz it's a beast. And being built like a tank, this big air ride is not for beginners. I'm 5' 8" and this is a little large for me, so sadly, I never even rode it on dirt or downhill, just a couple short test rides on pavement. Partial serial number is shown in photos.
Retailing at nearly $5000 when they came out, and due to low production numbers, Specialized Demo 9 bikes are really hard to find at all, let alone in this excellent condition, so jump on this one before it's gone.
