Vintage Electric Sprayit Co., Model 46A-324 air compressor for paint spraying. Suitable for small spray gun or airbrush. Small, not for high volume work. Single stage piston pump. Pump is cast iron. Cylinder head looks like it might be aluminum. 1:1 V-belt drive. There is no tank, it's designed to be connected directly to the gun but an in-line dryer and regulator wouldn't be a bad idea.
Made by Electric Sprayit Company, Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
Overall dimensions: 14-1/2 wide x 10-1/2 deep x 10 high.
1735 RPM, continuous duty 1/3 HP motor is a Westinghouse Type FJ, Style 1177896E, D145K Frame. Motor is wired for 115V now but can be rewired for 230V quite easily (instructions for doing so are on the rating plate).
This machine looks to be in pretty good condition, especially considering its age. It's oily and dusty as a result of sitting around in the garage/shop for quite a few years. Hasn't been used since the late 1980s but it was working then. I think this one is a really early model - looks "industrial" compared to some of the other Sprayit models I've seen. I have not seen another one quite like this one. I think it probably dates from the 1930s.
In spite of its small size, this thing is pretty heavy. $40 OBO, Cash only.
