Really nice example of Singer 201 sewing machine with potted motor (similar to the 15-91) and early 50's mid-century post deco sewing cabinet. The 201 is considered one of the best Singers made. The serial number puts this unit at 1950 production.
This example comes with the knee speed controller and the associated foot controller should you prefer. Electrical is in very good condition and I suspect the plug may not be original although it matches and function perfectly.
All hardware is intact with the exception of the hinges for the short right-hand extension easily found on ebay and etsy. The left hand table support pops out as intended when the top is folded out. This singer also comes with a number of accessories and a slick curved cabinet door hiding two storage drawers. The cabinet is quite nice and can be used as is or spruced up to furniture quality with very little effort
