Matthew and Williams Boatworks is looking for an experienced shipwright to join our team, with a strong foundation in all aspects of wooden boat repair. We are seeking someone with exceptional craftsmanship, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. Experience in boating and other supporting trades is a plus.
Joining our shop is joining a community centered on the maritime heritage of Seattle. Our shop sits on the lake washington ship canal with dock space and a fully outfitted woodshop. Supporting our shipwrights, our team provides a full range of services including painting, electrical, and welding/fabrication. Vessels we serve range from runabouts to luxury yachts, historical working vessels, and everything in between.
$30–45/hour
